This weeks guest is Christie Collins. Christie has worked in a multitude of restaurant settings from breakfast places to brew pubs to casual fine dining establishments and golf courses and many more. Currently, Christie is the driving force behind growprepcreate.com - an online platform dedicated to helping people cook, meal plan and prep in a way that supports your health goals and delights your tastebuds. Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Christie grew up in a very large, close family where all of the gatherings entered on food. There was a love and appreciation built for amazing spreads, pot luck style where every family contributed a dish or two with the dishes and presentation getting fancier as everyone got older.

Having worked in all sorts of restaurant settings through the years, Christie has gained a deep understanding and appreciation of cooking, dining, wine and enjoying life. Each place Christie has worked, she has always been one to ask a lot of questions to the chefs and cooks about any new dishes or ingredients. Along the way, Christie developed a wealth of knowledge regarding specific techniques and flavour combinations from some amazing chefs.

Loving food and beverages (wine.. mostly wine) has been a huge part of what has lead Christie to nutrition - wanting to find a way to indulge in delicious food everyday, but still leading to a healthy life.
