COVID Vaccine & Kids: Managing Potential Allergic Reactions with Matthew Greenhawt, MD (S4:E38)
After a long 18 months of living through a pandemic, vaccines have paved a way forward to a new normal – Just 6 weeks ago, the Pfizer vaccine received emergency use authorization for adolescents down to age 12; and here at Children’s Colorado, we are a Pfizer vaccine trial site for kids ages 5-11. As more of our pediatric patients become eligible for the vaccine, primary care providers will be considering how to safely vaccinate patients with a risk of allergic reaction.
