Welcome to The Highlights show of Episode 23 of Trail Running Ireland. The show is hosted by Eoin Flynn, UTMB Finish Line Race Announcer and 10 times Irish International Mountain Runner.


Our feature interview last week was with with Moire O´Sullivan, three time Irish National Adventure Race Series winner, two time Irish Mountain Running Champion, an Irish Orienteering age-group winner, the first person to complete the Wicklow Round and a completer of the Denis Rankin Round. Moire is also a mother of two fantastic sons, and shortly after Christmas 2018, Moire´s husband Pete took his own life after suffering with depression. "A Quarter Glass of Milk" is Moire’s new book on how she went about picking up the pieces after that tragedy and how the mountains and the running community played an important part in that process.
