Marianne lived Europe as a child, experiencing deep cross-cultural emersion. In that time she developed a fascination with the human condition. It was in these formative years that she began doing healing work as her mother suffered body pain.

She self taught acupressure and basic massage, eventually in adulthood Marianne got certification as a clinical sports massage therapist. Fast forward many years with some breaks in between, we all landed in a pandemic. In those years of hands on healing she learned that body pain is accompanied by unprocessed emotion and trauma.

Marianne developed an approach to help people help themselves called Psycho-emotive Anatomy. The pandemic spurred her to the to gain education and certifications to address the trauma everyone experienced during shutdowns. Combining her knowledge in body pain, she trained as a wellness coach with Mayo clinic, and added techniques in mind/body based approaches of Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting. These blended offer a Guided Focus experience to help clients with trauma and anxiety. She no longer practices standard massage, instead offering talk and focus sessions to help people help themselves. Marianne always says, "You can't change your history but your relationship to it".
