Ep 2: Madhura DasGupta Sinha: The Visionary on a Journey to Inspire 1 Million Women

Madhura DasGupta Sinha is a business leader and advocate for women’s economic justice and rights.

She was a banker for 25 years holding leadership positions in IDFC, Standard Chartered and ANZ Grindlays Bank.

Madhura was one of the 12 women across India to be awarded the British Chevening Scholarship in 2003. On the cusp of turning 50, Madhura founded her unique start up, Aspire For Her, with a mission to create a generation of financially independent women.

Since its birth on Women’s Day, 2020, the rapidly growing community at Aspire For Her has become a movement for women, in India and across the world, getting together members, supporters and mentors to unleash the trillion dollar potential in the Indian economy.

Under her stewardship, Aspire For Her has been conferred awards from UN Women and International Advertising Association.

Madhura’s vision for Aspire For Her is to impact over a million women and add 5 billion US dollars to India’s GDP by 2025.

• Financial independence is the cornerstone of all other forms of independence; emotional, mental, physical, and key to all joys as well. If you are financially independent you can actually walk out of distress in your life.
