Smooth Transition

Freddie interviews dj/rapper Laurence. They talk about getting into the dj scene and building a network to get connected to do certain events whether it be parties, club, weddings, comedy shows and industry events. How he curates his playlists together, uses different playlists depending on the event and how the timing is key when it comes to the transitions in between songs. We also talk about the party scene in LA, the different settings of the events depending on the age group and classics that work anywhere when he’s djing a set for a function. How social media adds fire to popular songs of the artists, catchy lyrics that connect with the audience and how artists make songs for mass appeal while still showing good penmanship. The type of shows that have djs be on that create a good atmosphere for the set, how djing plays into setting up for the rappers when they about to deliver freestyles and being ready when the opportunity comes your way for a good placement.
