Pete Swenson is our guest, and he's here to talk straight about the ski mountaineering racing scene.

Swenson wears many hats, but for the Lycra set, he's most well-known for starting the COSMIC race series here in Colorado. Beyond his legacy of speed, Swenson has been a forthright advocate for the racing scene. And as you'll hear on the episode, he's thought quite a bit about how to sustainably grow the sport and make it a more viable option for recreational fitness skiers and those keen on besting a Strava segment.

As we move into an Olympic year where ski mountaineering will be featured, Doug, Randy, and Swenson dream of bigger things to come, which you'll hear about on Episode 124.
