One moment, 66 year old Raymond Ashcroft was walking through the legendary ruins of Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site deep in the Guatemalan rainforest.
The next? He was gone.
No struggle. No witnesses. Just… silence.
Authorities launched a desperate search within a half hour of his disappearance.
But Raymond? He had disappeared into the shadows of history, just like the ancient Maya who once ruled these lands.
