What's Vitamin D and why is it important for women during LOCKDOWN - Interview with Adeola Aliu

Have you heard of Vitamin D before? Probably you have. But do you really know what it does in your body? Recently, the UK Health Board made an announcement that Vitamin D deficiency may be the reason why many black people are dying from COVID 19. With this in mind, there is now an need to increase the awareness of the importance of Vitamin D. We spend so much time indoors and this affects our immunity.

In this episode, I interviewed Adeola Aliu a pastor who lives in Nigeria where there is an abundance of sunshine to tell us where Vitamin D comes from and its importance in our bodies and for our immune system. With most people in doors and not getting enough sunshine what are the consequences? We often get this information from pharmacists, drug sellers or medical practitioners. In this episode, however, we will hear what a woman like us thinks and what she does. She is the women's leader of a large church in Lagos. She lives in the beautiful sunny climes of Nigeria, West Africa. She talks about what she thinks of the sunshine vitamin and how it can boost our health. We will also find out how much we need and how we can get enough.
