Ep. 238: All Elite Sparklers

Set the sparklers off! It’s time to over promise and under deliver on Tights and Fights!

AEW’s Revolution PPV was capped off with a major Exploding barbed wire death match for the championship between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley. Despite a bunch of barbed wire, it sure was light on explosions and death. We’ll talk about the dud of a finish and how we would like to see the company respond.

But it’s not all bad news in the land of the Elite... now they’ve got a brand new Christian Cage on the show to mix it up! We’ll talk about his big debut and why had was DEFINITELY behind his jump.

All that plus chats about an absolutely stacked NXT show, Apollo Crews’ new accent and why a quirky billionaire may be the worst kind.

Main Event

For over a decade, The Miz has been one of the most quietly consistent and top tier talents in WWE. From championship reigns to reality television to The Marine, he’s done it all. And yet he still isn’t nearly as appreciated as he should be. We’ll talk about what makes him so great and what it’s been like to see every phase of his career unfold in front of us.

Three Count

Danielle put over Matt Hardy’s Cameo.
