Don't worry, be happy - or: how do I become free!

We all know the song, but do we know the message?

Already when we hear the song we feel good. Our body starts to move, everyone I know this song puts a smile on their face.

And the words of Buddha have the same effect on us.

Without thinking, our mood changes, we become positive.

What felt bad suddenly feels good.

The facts and our counterpart have not changed, but our way of looking at things is different.

This happens without thinking, it happens "by itself".

If the mother or the boss says: "don't worry about it", "relax", "it will be alright", then we take new courage and suddenly everything is not so bad anymore.

Buddha also said "don't worry, be happy", but in a different context.

We know the power of these words, but we don't use them for ourselves.

So, why don't we use these words? Maybe once on a trial basis, just for a day?
