Scaling Agricultural Innovation

Bhavnita (Bhav) Patel is a Sector Development Manager - Agri-Food and the Manufacturing Technology Centre. In this episode Communities Director Becky Dodds chats to Bhav about some of the barriers facing scale-ups in Agri-Tech, how we can de-risk adoption of technologies, and also some of the lessons learned from other industries that MTC work with that we could use in agriculture.

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) develops and proves innovative manufacturing processes and technologies in an agile, low risk environment, in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. The MTC’s areas of expertise are directly relevant to both large and small companies, and are applicable across a wide range of industry sectors. MTC are always looking to challenge the boundaries of manufacturing in the UK.
