Misogyny & financial abuse - the red flags - Am I Equal? a miniseries with Laura Henshaw

‘Am I Equal’ is a three-part KICPOD miniseries exploring the push to return to traditional gender roles, the manosphere and the real life impact this is having on us, our relationships and on society.

In this episode we explore the real-life impact of traditional gender roles, including financial abuse.

First - Laura speaks with gender equality activist, Gina Martin, about the push towards traditional gender roles being led by Gen Z men, as well as benevolent sexism and how to spot it online.

Then - Laura speaks with financial advisor Jessica Brady about financial abuse: what is it, how to spot it, and what you can do if you suspect you or someone you know is in a financially abusive relationship.

This is the third episode of the ‘Am I Equal’ miniseries for now. We will publish a fourth episode with your stories of how this series has impacted you. If you’d like to share your story - you can send us a voice memo via @kicpod on Instagram.
