The Story of God - Part 7 - Joshua, the Promised Land, & Rest

Christians believe that the Bible is much more than a collection of 66 individual documents, written by various human authors, throughout various moments in human history (though it's not less). For centuries, the Church has held to the belief that the Bible truly has 1 author - God - and that in it, he's woven together a singular story of redemption.

This week marks the milestone moment where Israel inherits the land that God had promised to his people. In it, we see that God wasn't merely intending to give them property, but to give them rest.
