President Trump is having quite a mood swing. Last night he was ecstatic posting that a ceasefire had been reached between Israel and Iran and there was finally peace, but after missiles started flying again, he became enraged. Today, while speaking with reporters, he got so worked up he dropped a bomb of his own. And the thought of World War III breaking out has touched a nerve on our shores, reigniting the doomsday prepper movement with Americans getting ready for the worst. And what about those old fallout shelters constructed decades ago during the Cold War? Are they still there? Plus, they were having a bachelorette party on a boat and as they headed out to sea, they joked about it being the 50th anniversary of the movie Jaws... And what do you know...a giant shark showed up! And as they say in the movie- ‘We're gonna need a bigger boat!’ And authorities say a mass shooting at a church was averted when a gunman was taken down before he had a chance to open fire on parishioners and a security guard is being hailed a hero. We're learning new details about the gunman who used an AR-15 to mow down five colleagues at their morning meeting inside a bank in Louisville. Connor Sturgeon bought the rifle legally just last week. And under Kentucky law, the mayor of Louisville, himself a shooting victim - says that weapon will be sold at auction and be back on the street. And if there is a profile of a typical shooter, the 25-year-old gunman in the bank massacre doesn’t seem to fit it. He comes from an intact family, graduated college and was a standout athlete in high school. But he sustained so many concussions in sports that he joked about it. Might that have been a factor? Plus, Taylor Swift clearly isn't sitting home brooding about her latest breakup. And more bad news out of San Francisco. In the wake of the fatal stabbing of the founder of Cash App, the city's flagship Whole Foods supermarket is shutting its doors just one year after opening...citing out of control crime as the reason.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Another mass shooting - this time it was inside a bank. Cops were there in just three minutes but that's all the time it took for a man in his 20's, who'd been a portfolio manager at the bank, to open fire killing four people, and wounding at least eight. Shortly after the shootings, a tearful governor of Kentucky said that was his bank and that two of the dead were close friends while a third person he knew was fighting for their life. And, imagine looking out the window to not only see your car being hooked to a tow truck, but the driver appearing to take your stuff inside the vehicle. This lady couldn't believe it but luckily, she filmed it all with her phone. She spoke with Ann Mercogliano. Plus, Melania Trump has stayed out of sight since her husband's indictment. But Easter Sunday, there she was at brunch at Mar-a-lago. And, the revelation that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted multiple unreported luxury vacations and gifts has put an uncomfortable spotlight on his benefactor. He's a wealthy conservative real estate developer who also happens to be a collector of Nazi memorabilia. It was one of the admonitions from the judge - make no attacks against the court or the prosecution in the Donald Trump criminal case. An admonition Trump seemed to ignore in his speech at Mar-a-Lago last night. Plenty of supporters were there…but as Les Trent reports, Melania Trump was not among them. And the statement of facts accompanying the Trump indictment mentions a doorman who was also the recipient of hush money. So who was he? And what was he being paid to keep quiet? Plus, it's technology gone amuck and no one's quite sure why. If you lose your phone, the Find My Phone feature is supposed help track it down. But for some reason, Find My Phone keeps sending people to this guy's house. And as Jim Moret reports, he's about had it. And if you're looking for a deal on a fancy mansion in Los Angeles…you might be in luck. Jim Moret explains why. It's Donald Trump as you've never seen him. In court, under arrest, formally sitting at the defendant's table before a judge. Mr. Trump is now the only former president of the United States to ever face criminal charges. The 45th president was formally arraigned on charges recommended by a grand jury after hearing weeks of evidence. We've got team coverage of this historic moment. And the NYPD was prepared for any chaos outside court. The entire force of 35,000 officers were on duty today and the mayor of New York issued a stern warning - if you are coming to cause a disruption stay home. But in the end, things did not come anywhere close to the violence seen on January 6th. Plus, he was shooting hoops in the driveway when he heard his wife call for help. Moments after sinking what looked like a three pointer, this hero dad saved his little girl who was choking on a carrot. And the New York subway has a strict rule - no dogs unless they're in containers. However, some pet owners have found a loophole.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. That's former President Trump arriving in New York ahead of his arraignment tomorrow on multiple charges recommended by a grand jury. The unprecedented indictment of a former president is accompanied by incredible security. As law enforcement are taking every precaution to prevent the kind of unrest seen on January 6th. And, by this time tomorrow, the world will know exactly what charges the former president will face. Mr. Trump has said he'll speak publicly tomorrow evening from Palm Beach about the indictment. But, as Les Trent reports, a judicial order could make that impossible. Plus, lifesaving advice from a woman who nearly lost hers: take shelter from a tornado, don’t try to film it. As a killer storm was bearing down, she was capturing the moment on her phone through a window. Then the winds began to suck her out. Luckily for her, her husband was there to hang on for dear life. And, it's been exactly one week since six people were killed at the Covenant school by an armed former student. It's the nation's most recent school shooting. And since it happened in Nashville, it's no surprise the tragedy took center stage at last night's CMT awards. Inside Edition for Friday, March 31, 2023

It is uncharted territory for America. Just as Donald Trump was the first president to be twice impeached, he is now the first ex-president to be indicted. The former president and his legal team were said to be caught off guard by the announcement. Shortly after the news broke, Mr. Trump, with wife Melania, were spotted at his private club having dinner with supporters. And as with so many things connected to Donald Trump, the indictment has sparked heated conflicting reactions. Some saying it underscores that all are equal under the law, others saying its pure politics. Plus, among those who testified to the grand jury is the former owner of the National Enquirer…which years ago paid a former Playboy model for her story of an alleged affair with Trump - and never published it. Her name is Karen McDougal and unlike Stormy Daniels she has shunned the spotlight…but she may now play a key role in the case. And It was a rite of passage. Teens would count down the days till they get their driver's license. Well, not anymore. More and more young people are opting to not drive. Here's why.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Visit https://podcastchoices.com/adchoices
