Around the world, 1.4 billion Catholics, along with people of all faiths, are mourning the death of Pope Francis. There had been worries over the Pope's health in recent months after his five-week hospital stay for pneumonia... and when he appeared at the Vatican yesterday for Easter, there were hopes he was doing better... but that comeback is now being seen as a goodbye. And Pope Francis is known as one of the most humble papal figures in the catholic church's history. And as we saw during his trip to the states, he didn't want to be seen as just an untouchable icon, waving from the Vatican balcony. He was dubbed the people's Pope because he liked to get up close and personal. Plus, in public, Pope Francis usually took a serious tone - talking about the world's problems. But behind the scenes those close to him say he liked a good joke like the rest of us. That's why he was all smiles last year when he hosted 100 famous comedians at the Vatican. And a retiree working as an Uber driver to help pay the bills, ended up stuck in her vehicle on train tracks, and started panicking. As a little kid he starred with Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense, delivering one of the most repeated lines in movie history – “I see dead people.” Since then, Haley Joel Osment has dropped off the radar. His classmates say they weren't surprised about what happened because the suspect was known to act strangely on campus. Plus, it's a classic piece of pop culture - the Kool-Aid guy crashing through the wall to promote the sugary drink kids love. But it's led to a challenge on social media and no one's fence is safe. And a community is helping each other as we head into easter weekend by forming a human chain....of books! 300 people lined the street passing more than nine thousand books. It's the story that's shocking the country - a high school athlete fatally stabbing another athlete at a track meet. Police bodycam video is answering some of the mysteries surrounding the death of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife. And there's one very poignant moment -- as cops discover the bodies, they see one of the couple's beloved dogs keeping watch - loyal to the very end. And she's the teacher who cops say attended a party at the principal's house involving alcohol and drugs and 200 students, many of them underage. Now just-released bodycam video from the moment police arrive at the party shows the teacher telling them she's not drunk, but based on how she was acting, they don't believe her. Cops arrested her for disorderly conduct and intoxication. A woman slipped while hiking and ended up dangling on the side of a cliff. She held the rocks in a death grip for more than an hour... terrified her heavy backpack would make her fall. Police chases are common in Los Angeles, but this may be the craziest yet. After a multi-vehicle hit-and-run, a suspect flees on foot, stripping down to his underwear and then starts watering plants, cops say, to blend in. And if that's not wild enough - during the manhunt cops ended up shooting and injuring the wife of a rock star who they say aimed her gun at them.  And a woman needed to get home from a girls night out so she took a ride share, never in a million years thinking something this horrifying would happen. The driver got her home, but she says he then groped her right on her front porch. Plus, President Trump is talking about why he decided to put a 90-day pause on his tariffs with an interesting word choice - he said he changed his mind because everyone was getting "yippy." - and had a lot of people Googling what it meant! And the Trump administration announced a prisoner swap with Russia today and the American coming home is getting lots of attention because she's a ballerina.
