Georgia shortchanged an HBCU (to no one's surprise)

Well, knock me over with a feather: Georgia is one of sixteen (almost all of them, southern) states that failed to equitably fund their HBCU land grant school(s) as they did their other(s). Well, the Department of Education (the one the right wants to abolish, of course) is awaiting word how Governor Brian Kemp will address that $603 million gulf. I've some ideas.

Remember "tan suit-gate?" Oh the outrage over the shade of suit President Obama wore nine years ago. Whelp; conservatives are pearl-clutching again over who wears what in Washington.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg should consider overseeing education after outright schooling two GOP congressmen while they attempted to feign outrage over subsidies and climate change. Oh, and I have to give my hometown a little airtime to thank conservatives for unwittingly making the Biden administration's point about the need for the infrastructure funding they got (that even Trump wanted).

Lastly, a "TIL" moment; except it was yesterday. So "yesterday I learned" that "big tobacco" wasn't done poisoning Americans with addictive chemicals in cigarettes while hiding the deadly effects of their products; no, they also bought many of our countries major food brands and made them more addictive and deadly, too. Who's up for another class action lawsuit?
