In today's episode, I'm tackling a question I occasionally get from young entrepreneurs: "How do I handle competitors talking trash?" Before we dive into that, let me set the stage with a thought experiment about Howard Isley, a decent but average NBA player, compared to the legendary Michael Jordan. The point is clear—winners like Jordan don't care what losers think. They're focused on their game, their vision, and their success.

The reality is that when you build something undeniably great, the truth will speak louder than any petty trash talk. Those one-star reviews or competitors spreading false narratives? They won't matter when your business is backed by thousands of five-star reviews and loyal customers. Winners don't engage in the dirt with losers; they keep their eye on the prize and let their success silence the noise.

So, what should you do when your competition tries to pull you down? The answer is simple: ignore them. Focus on building a company so excellent that no one can deny its greatness. Like Michael Jordan, who didn't waste time worrying about lesser players' opinions, you should focus on controlling what you can—your vision, your integrity, and your execution.
