A Los Angeles homeowner has spray painted a sign with a loud and clear message: Looters will be shot. With the LAPD announcing they've made 40 arrests during the fires for burglary and other crimes, citizens are taking action themselves - confronting anyone they don't recognize in their neighborhoods in case they are even thinking of looting the burnt-out properties. And in the middle of the devastating fires, some people are actually starting new blazes, diverting the already over extended firefighters. California has been dealing with an arson crime wave with 150 arrests made last year alone. Plus, it's called the Trump shuffle - the dance moves President-elect Trump has been doing on the campaign trail to The Village People classic ‘YMCA.’ Now the group is confirming they will actually perform the song at a ball during next week's inauguration - just one of the surprises in store.  And a flight attendant was having fun taking a selfie video twerking on a plane in her uniform, but when she posted it, her bosses apparently weren't impressed and she says she was fired. One week after the devastating wildfires broke out, Los Angeles is on high alert today. According to the National Weather Service, expected high winds could cause “explosive fire growth.” And now comes this - police have just released mug shots of suspects accused of looting and other crimes during the fires. And even those who haven't lost their homes in the flames are facing a danger they may not be aware of… toxic air. Buildings not burnt to a crisp are filled with toxic fumes that could be harmful. Plus, President-elect Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama shared a chummy moment at former President Jimmy Carter's funeral. And next Monday the two will meet again when Trump is sworn in as our 47th president. But as she did with the Carter funeral, Michelle Obama announced today she won't be attending. And Princess Kate is making a big announcement - she's now in remission from cancer. With more strong winds in the forecast for the next three days, firefighters are bracing for even more challenges. All of the more than 32 hundred Los Angeles Fire Department personnel are on the front lines, and they are over extended, but there's another option that's causing some controversy. Some wealthy homeowners are actually hiring private firefighters to fight the blaze.  And a man returns to his burnt out home looking for his little dog named Oreo. Then as cameras are rolling, the pooch comes running down the driveway for an emotional reunion.  Plus, next week Donald Trump will be sworn in as our 47th president and today it was announced none other than Carrie Underwood will sing ‘The America The Beautiful’. She's the biggest singer to throw her support behind Trump and says she's honored to get the call.  And it's a toy that flew off the shelves this holiday season... a squishy toy kids can't get enough of. Now, comes a warning... don't heat them up in the microwave! Two sisters did just that with disastrous results. In the middle of the Los Angeles fires devastation, it's the last thing anyone needed… a false alarm sent out to 10 million residents that they needed to prepare to evacuate. Problem is - it was sent out by mistake. And as the sun came up today, many returned to their homes to see what, if anything, was left, and on one street where every home was destroyed, there's one house that was left standing. Plus, remember the guy who won a historic two-billion-dollar jackpot in a Powerball drawing a few years ago? He spent millions of his earnings on a waterfront property in Malibu. Now, many are saying his luck has run out as the property burns to the ground. And Donald Trump is now the first president in history to also be a convicted felon after being sentenced today in his hush money case. It comes the day after he attended Jimmy Carter's funeral, which there's some controversy over today because of the song Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood performed. Trump says he will appeal the conviction. Total devastation today as firefighters continue to battle multiple wildfires. The blaze is now officially the worst natural disaster in LA history and anger is growing over the lack of water available to extinguish the spreading flames. And for many it’s a tough decision - Do you stay and try to douse the flames or grab your essentials and flee?  Plus, along with the devastation, we are also hearing inspiring stories of people going above and beyond to help. The governor of California has declared a state of emergency as wildfires continue to spread across Los Angeles. 100 mile per hour winds are making the situation, in the words of the fire chief, horrific and unpredictable. Residents are sharing heart stopping videos of the disaster, including a house with floor to ceiling glass windows surrounded by flames getting closer and closer. And, it's one of the best-known streets in America - iconic Sunset Boulevard, but today there are burnt out cars lining the streets - left behind by panicked residents who had to ditch their vehicles to escape on foot. Plus, the fire is being called the most destructive in California history and the area being hit the hardest is Pacific Palisades - one of the ritziest neighborhoods in America - home to many well-known celebrities who are now among the more than 80,000 evacuees. And Inside Edition reporter Alison Hall covers all types of stories, but never one as personal as this. She recently was given a breast cancer diagnosis and has made the incredibly brave decision to go public in the hope that sharing her journey will help other women.
