Could Mercedes Send Antonelli to ALPINE for 2026?

Rumours have, of course, been heating up about a blockbuster Mercedes strategy for 2026. However, I wish to suppose something different. Not much talk has focused on Kimi Antonelli. Should Toto Wolff keep Russell to partner Verstappen - should the deal be done - Alpine might be the Italian's home whilst he continues to develop. In this video, I wish to discuss this less talked situation, what it means for the team’s championship ambitions and why Kimi could offer more to the new Merc customers than his older colleague Valtteri Bottas could. We also explain why Antonelli’s rookie achievements and in-depth knowledge of the 2025 Mercedes could give Alpine a huge advantage just as they switch to Mercedes power units...and could make things even more cost effective!
