What do you bring to your first powerlifting meet? This is what you'll usually find

When I went to my first powerlifting meet I had no idea about what I should bring with me. I mean, the meet gave me information on what they needed from me at check-ins and what equipment each lifter had to wear to qualify but I had no idea what I needed to bring with me besides that. Luckily, that experience showed me exactly what I needed. Here are a few of the things that you’ll find you’ll need to bring with you to your next powerlifting meet:

  • Id
  • Rack heights
  • Opening weights
  • Singlet
  • Ears
  • Snacks/water
  • Deadlift socks
  • Accessories
  • T-shirts
  • Briefs
  • Dry Chalk
  • First Aid
  • A handler
  • Snacks, caffeine, and water
