A mother is in court charged with leaving her one-year-old son in a hot car for two hours, leading to his death. The story is even more upsetting when you hear where the mom was for all that time. She was inside a spa getting lip fillers while the car heated up to a sweltering 143 degrees! Now even her own mother-in-law is denouncing her. And a now former teacher is facing more than a dozen charges after being accused of having sex with a student - and it allegedly went on for years. Now the student is 18, and in a move that is rare for victims in cases like this, he's going public to put a face on teacher sex crimes. Plus, out of the blue, a grandmother got a call from a 9-1-1 dispatcher. At first, she thought there was some sort of emergency, then the dispatcher told her she was getting an award from the police department. But what she heard next almost knocked her off her chair. The dispatcher said she was being honored for being the dumbest person in her neighborhood! That dispatcher is no longer taking calls. And there was lots to look at in the stands at Wimbledon including a royal moment, as Kate Middleton returned to the tennis tournament for the first time since starting her cancer treatments. She was emotional as she got a rousing standing ovation. To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
