A mother is in court charged with leaving her one-year-old son in a hot car for two hours, leading to his death. The story is even more upsetting when you hear where the mom was for all that time. She was inside a spa getting lip fillers while the car heated up to a sweltering 143 degrees! Now even her own mother-in-law is denouncing her. And a now former teacher is facing more than a dozen charges after being accused of having sex with a student - and it allegedly went on for years. Now the student is 18, and in a move that is rare for victims in cases like this, he's going public to put a face on teacher sex crimes. Plus, out of the blue, a grandmother got a call from a 9-1-1 dispatcher. At first, she thought there was some sort of emergency, then the dispatcher told her she was getting an award from the police department. But what she heard next almost knocked her off her chair. The dispatcher said she was being honored for being the dumbest person in her neighborhood! That dispatcher is no longer taking calls. And there was lots to look at in the stands at Wimbledon including a royal moment, as Kate Middleton returned to the tennis tournament for the first time since starting her cancer treatments. It's a law important to remember as the new school year gets underway. When a school bus is stopped with its flashing red lights, traffic in both directions must stop, for obvious safety reasons. In some areas, failure to do so can land you behind bars. That’s exactly where some frustrated parents would like to see the people they've filmed as they rush past their kids' busses. And a13-year-old had just finished swimming in a Florida creek when an alligator lunged from the water and bit him. Not only did this kid not freak out - Les Trent says he batted the critter away and then calmly called for help. Plus, as a dispatcher she handles emergency calls all day long. However, one call came from someone she knows very well. It was her little boy telling her, their house was on fire. And there’s no quitting for this lady! She's a maternity ward nurse who delivers baby after baby. However, one little girl born more than twenty years ago turned out to be extra special. She's now her daughter-in-law!
