The 14-month-old boy had been playing outside when he fell into a 12-inch-wide pipe and got trapped. The challenge was he's too young to follow instructions from rescuers. And, there's still big reaction to Donald Trump telling a convention of black journalists that his rival Kamala Harris had only recently quote "turned black." Today the former president is doubling down saying he crushed it, while others say it was a crushing blow to his campaign. Plus, the families of Americans who were being held in Russia are crying tears of joy today over the news their loved ones were coming home. Paul Whelan and Evan Gershkovich are among those released in the biggest prisoner exchange with Russia since the cold war. And Donald Trump appeared at the National Association of Black Journalists today. And saying things were contentious would be an understatement. Plus, while recovering from hip replacement surgery 70-year-old TV legend, Kathie Lee Gifford, fell - fracturing her pelvis in two places. Falling can be catastrophic, especially for those at Gifford’s age. Ann Mercogliano has tips on how to take a fall without breaking anything. And a man fighting with a group of teens tubing on a river pulls a knife killing a 17-year-old. He claimed it was self-defense, but was found guilty of first-degree reckless homicide. And he's the now former police officer charged with murder after shooting a woman in her kitchen. Now we're hearing audio of Sean Grayson being berated by his bosses when he worked at a previous Illinois police department. On the bombshell tapes, a chief deputy is heard telling Grayson he is a liar who shouldn't even be wearing a uniform. Ann Mercogliano has our report, and we warn you the video is hard to watch. Sean Grayson has pleaded not guilty in connection with the shooting of the woman in the kitchen.
