It was a terrifying day at the beach as a 10-year-old girl swimming just feet away from her mom was attacked by a shark that almost got away with her hand. Amazingly, doctors were able to re-attach her hand, and she's on the way to recovery with the help of a big yellow foam arm cradle that a lot of people say looks like Swiss cheese. And what do you do after being acquitted of murdering your boyfriend? If you're Karen Read, you party. She and her lawyers had a big celebration last night, and today the first juror is speaking out about all the behind the scenes drama in the deliberation room. Plus, we're learning new details about the death of Food Network star Anne Burrell. Reports now say it was her husband who found her unresponsive... and that she was laying on the floor of the shower. And with talk of war building in the Middle East, thousands of Americans in Israel are desperate to get home...but with airports closed that's no easy task. We've told you how some were escaping on a cruise ship, but this guy actually made it out on a tiny catamaran sailboat. Big reaction to the sudden and unexpected death of one of the food network's biggest personalities, Anne Burrell.  She was found unresponsive on the floor of her Brooklyn home at just 55 years old.  We won't have an official cause of death until the autopsy, but the 9-1-1 caller did say Burrell was in cardiac arrest. So, was it a heart attack? And President Trump hoisted one of two new 100-foot flag poles on the north and south lawns of the White House. It comes as he's closely monitoring the unrest in the Middle East, and the big question is - will the U.S. deploy its huge- bunker buster bomb needed to hit the main nuclear facility in Iran. Plus, the largest jewelry theft in U.S. history. Three years ago, thieves tracked a Brinks truck to a rest stop where they stole 24 bags of jewelry worth 150 million dollars. Now, seven suspects have been charged in the heist. We're learning new details about how Israel pulled off its unprecedented air strike on Iran. The operation code named “Operation Rising Lion” was being planned for months. In more than 100 strikes, Israel hit a number of Iran’s nuclear facilities and top generals. And today, the attack continued. Ann Mercogliano has more, including what affect the strike will have here in the U.S. And it's now in the hands of the jury to decide Karen Read's fate. She's accused of murdering her cop boyfriend by mowing him down with her SUV. However she claims it was all a set up and he was beaten to death at a party. Plus, last time we told you about the guy who miraculously survived that jumbo jet crash when the rest of the passengers perished.  Now he's speaking from his hospital bed and he's just as shocked as the rest of the world about what happened. It's being called the miracle in seat 11a. Initial reports about that devastating jumbo jet crash in India presumed all 242 on board were dead. Ananda Lewis who rose to fame as an MTV VJ and then had her own daytime talk show has died of breast cancer. After lots of drama in the jury room, there's a partial verdict in the sexual assault retrial of disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein... at least for some of the charges that involve three different accusers.   Weinstein denies all the charges. And a grandmother is arrested at gunpoint by federal agents outside her home - accused of being a fugitive who violated her parole. One big problem...they had the wrong woman! The grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of two is completely traumatized. Plus, a woman was trapped in a burning car... and she wouldn't have survived if not for a good Samaritan who risked his life for a stranger because the first thing he thought was, it could have been his mom. You know the nursery rhyme “Rain, rain go away”... A fourth night of chaos in Los Angeles as protesters angry about federal immigration raids clashed with the LAPD and national guard... with marines also deployed to help restore peace. A news crew captured two women handing out full face masks to the demonstrators. The masks are called "bionic shields" because they offer full protection from the tear gas and rubber bullets being fired by law enforcement. And the reporters covering the mayhem live say it's like being in a warzone. They often find themselves in the line of fire...one even landed in the hospital after getting struck in the leg by a projectile. Plus, a doorbell camera captures a nanny in distress. While taking care of three children, she was attacked with bear spray by a home invader... and the home targeted wasn't just any home, it reportedly belongs to Grammy winning singer Macklemore. And it's the gas you get at the dentist to help you relax... it's called nitrous oxide, but you may know it as laughing gas. It can also be used to make whipped cream.
