In this podcast Pierre takes a dive into Ivan's history and how he discovered Bitcoin in the very early days, and in turn pivoting SOFTSWISS to be the first platform to offer bitcoin payments to its partners in 2012. They also discuss the time when Ivan was interviewed by a certain Vitalik Buterin in 2012 who later went on to start Etherium, Vitalik is now one of the most famous people on planet earth.

Mostly though, they ponder the big problem of the iGaming industry, the fact that regulators are slow to adopt new technologies, which holds operators back. Ivan and SOFTSWISS are trying to work with the regulators to bring crypto payments to the industry in a safe way, but he is also working on other ways to help operators adopt new technologies despite the difficult regulators.

Ivan Montik is the founder of SOFTSWISS, BGaming, and Merkeleon. Since 2009, he has been running a number of successful projects in IT, fintech and iGaming. The strongest supporter of cryptocurrency, he was the first to introduce Bitcoin into the online entertainment industry in 2013. Ivan founded CoinsPaid and Cryptoprocessing.com, crypto payment processing solutions for e-commerce, PSP, iGaming, and streaming. The group of companies founded by Ivan employs over 1300 people worldwide.
