Can Anyone Force Putin To Stand Trial For War Crimes?

With more devastating reports from Ukraine of horrific crimes including massacres, torture and rape being committed by Russian forces against civilians, there are increasing calls for Russian President Vladimir Putin and his soldiers to be prosecuted for war crimes.

But who actually has the authority to make them face consequences for these horrendous acts, and would that really put an end to the conflict given that such trials have in the past taken years to reach a verdict?

The Quicky speaks to an expert in international law to find out what is and isn't possible when it comes to holding Russia to account.
