Women Shouldn't Need To Learn Self Defence, But Should We?

The rate of men killing women in Australia is alarmingly high, with now one woman being violently murdered every four days. Three women were allegedly murdered in the space of 48 hours this past week.

One thing that pops up time and time again is how women can better protect themselves against these men. But would learning self defence actually help?

In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at the pros and cons of taking matters into your own hands when it comes to protecting yourself, and how martial arts might just help to bring down the heartbreaking statistics.
