However, Owens encountered several difficulties with the video call, leading to a confusing exchange. "Judge?" Diddy' Combs is one involving a nine-year-old, according to a Texas lawyer who is overseeing the reported cases. Attorney Tony Buzbee alleged during a press conference: "This, individual who was nine years old at the time, was taken to an audition in New York City with Bad Boy Records. Other boys were there to audition as well. All of them were trying to land a record deal. All of them were minors. #STSNation, Welcome to another episode of Surviving The Survivor, the podcast that brings you the #BestGuests in all of True Crime… In a bombshell development, the trial of Donna Adelson, accused in the 2014 murder-for-hire killing of Dan Markel, went off the rails on the first day of jury selection after her lead attorney, Dan Rashbaum of Miami, withdrew over conflicts of interest. Rashbaum represented Adelson's son, Charlie Adelson, who was convicted last year on murder charges and sentenced to life in prison. About two months later, Sterns – her mom's boyfriend – was charged with first-degree murder after investigators determined that the teenager was likely already dead before the school bell rang that day. A different judge denied his request for bail on Wednesday. Combs’ legal team promptly appealed the judge’s decision to deny bail, and returned to court the following afternoon. In a Sept. 17 letter to the judge, Combs' lawyers described conditions at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as "horrific" and "not fit for pre-trial detention." Now more lawsuits are being filed. #BestGuests: Tommy Scoville was raised in an upper middle class family.
