Best defensive team in the NBA: The Boston Celtics are exerting their will on the competition.  After a big week, including some good wins on the road against tough Western Conference foes, these Celtics may have found their identity. An up-and-down season thus far has produced yet another up-and-down week for the Boston Celtics.  After Friday night’s huge win against the Atlanta Hawks, it finished on a big up as the Celts have clawed their way back to .500.  It will be hard to continue it today as the Celtics will travel to play Russell Westbrook and possibly Kevin Durant as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Justin Poulin will take about today’s game briefly with Larry H. Russell in the American Farmer’s Network Pre-Game segment. Jeff Goodman, ESPN basketball insider will also make a return appearance to the show.  College basketball is now officially underway and there isn’t a better person to talk too.  But Jeff and LHR will delve more into just the college hoops and prospects ranks.  There will be, yes, more Celtics talk.  Here’s a question not just for Jeff, but the Celtics Beat audience as it’s the Facebook Question of the Week: Should the Boston Celtics take the Brooklyn Nets picks off the table during trade discussions? The Boston Celtics are off to a pretty average start.  They’re just 2-3 and even after Friday’s big win against the Washington Wizards, no one yet knows who fits where or what works.  Frequent Celtics Beat target Jared Sullinger put together a strong performance.  Should he be the Celts starting power forward? That is our Facebook Question of the Week? Gery Woelfel, NBA Insider for the Racine Journal Times will return to the show.  The Celtics need to find a way to tread water through November and December as they work around some kinks.  On tap are the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.  LHR will preview Boston’s trip to Milwaukee with Gery and get the lowdown on the Bucks. The Boston Celtics and the NBA season is underway.  Good for the NBA, not so good for the Celtics, who at 1-1 don’t look all too hot after a lackluster performance against the Toronto Raptors.  And with the San Antonio Spurs coming to town, it may very well be 1-2.  Celtics Beat will host a pre-game segment with LHR and Nick Gelso, and it won’t sound all too positive.  The roster seems out of synch and it may take time to work things out. With the slow start comes disappointments.  The biggest so far seems to be David Lee.  Is his time almost up? LHR thinks so.  And he asks our audience in the Facebook Question of the Week: Will David Lee be out of the rotation by Thanksgiving weekend? Let the games begin...well not till Wednesday.  But the Boston Celtics and NBA season for 2016 is finally on tap.  Larry H.
