Bavarian Podcast Works: Bayern Munich takes on nemesis Borussia Mönchengladbach, inevitably loses 0-2
The friendlies are running out and Julian Nagelsmann is running out of time to win one. Today was no different; Bayern Munich went down to the team I consider their arch-nemesis, Borussia MönchengIadbach, 0-2. I wonder if Hansi Flick would have won his friendlies if he had the chance to play friendlies last season. There were some solid performers out there. Malik Tillman had a good game as did Omar Richards; Richards’ performance matters because of all the injuries Bayern is contending with in defense. For Gladbach, long-term players such as Patrick Hermann disappointed but youngsters such as Connor Noss and Moustafa Moustafa impressed. Hannes Wolf put in a very good performance as well.Perhaps Nagelsmann is learning more and more about which players he wants to promote.
