Episode 256: Moms Are Stepping Out of the Alcohol and Corporate Matrix and Doing Life Their Own Way with Amy Tanzillo

Episode 256: Moms Are Stepping Out of the Alcohol and Corporate Matrix and Doing Life Their Own Way with Amy Tanzillo

When Amy Tanzillo went alcohol-free in 2020 to make her side hustle, Thrive Breastfeeding, her full-time job, the impact was incredible.

Suddenly, Amy – a single mom of three kids – found herself able to work on all cylinders and offer not only breastfeeding expertise but also coaching and business mentorship to her toolkit, helping entrepreneurs build six-figure companies.

Most importantly, becoming an alcohol-free entrepreneur has allowed Amy to be more present with her kids. (Case and point: one recent weekend she drove them from D.C. to New York to see the city at Christmas time. Sometimes, she and her daughter do pilates before school. These are not things you can do while hungover!)

In this episode, Karolina and Amy – an alum of the Empowered AF Certification program – talk about the phenomenon of mothers taking control of their careers so they can be more present in their kids' lives. Their conversation reminds us, especially during the holiday season, what we're working so hard for: to create memories with the people you love the most.

Remember, you are a freaking badass. See you in 2025!

(P.S. Want to learn more about how to accelerate your business and become a thought leader and disruptor in your industry? Karolina still has a few spots left in her Thought Leader Mastermind!)
