Welcome to WPFC Podcasting! This is a weekly look at news, information and the people in and around Pike County! Being Mayor is/can be and should be, an all consuming job…. You over see sewer plant and water plant. You have water lines to rebuild and expand…You’ve got to make sure to take care the fire and the police department’s needs so they can do their job. You’ve got the park to maintain, streets to build….great decisions come and go, but then you’ve always got pot holes to fill and weed letters to send out, visits to make…. Back when I served as mayor we had a great organization called the Petersburg Jaycees and they ran an annual community get together called the Catfish Festival. But after many years with a changing society, service organizations started fade. The Jaycees ran out of steam. The City jumped in, and before long created the Buffalo Trace Festival. Today’s goes is Petersburg Mayor RC Klipsch. Mayor! Welcome!
