177: Spree Killer Andrew Cunanan- Part 1
Andrew Cunanan was a big talker and wanted all the best things in life. Unfortunately, he was unwilling to work to reach his goals. Instead he lived off the wealth of his older lovers and off the money from the drugs he sold (and used). Then Cunanan’s desire for the finer things and wanting people to know his name led him down the path to serial murder and eventually the assassination of Gianni Versace. 174: Mysterious Death of Kendrick Johnson
On Thursday, January 10, 2013, 17-year-old Kendrick Johnson never returned home after a day at school. The following day, his body was found wedged in the middle of a large wrestling mat in the corner of his Valdosta, Georgia high school’s gym. Kendrick’s death was ruled a tragic accident and the investigation was closed after four months. However, the Johnson family was adamant that their son was the victim of foul play and his death was being covered up by law enforcement and school officials. Was Kendrick Johnson murdered by other students at school or did he fall into the mat while trying to retrieve his shoes, causing him to suffocate to death? Part 2 of 2. On July 1st, 1981, workers for a moving company heard noises coming from the house next to the one they were working at and saw a few men running from the house. Inside the home, the police found 4 bodies, beaten almost beyond recognition, and a 5th person, barely clinging to life despite her severe injuries. 171: Eastburn Family Murders
On Mother’s Day in 1985, Katie Eastburn and 2 of her daughters, 5-year-old Kara and 3-year-old Erin, were found dead in their Fayetteville, NC home. They had been brutally murdered 3 days before and the only survivor in the house was 21-month-old, Jana. Left in her crib for 3 days, Jana was spared the same fate as her mom and sisters. Their attacker, Tim Hennis would go on to be convicted and sentenced to death and then acquitted AND THEN convicted to death again in a military court-martial. He and his supporters continue to maintain her innocence, but it’s hard to argue with DNA. Wanna take our Patreon for a test drive and get FREE BONUS EPISODES?
