Meet Eamonn Fitzpatrick, an Australian-based political and corporate adviser who has worked with global brands such as Google and Uber, advising governments and leaders in Australia and Asia during a 30-year career in politics and communications.

He is managing director at Fitzpatrick & Co Advisory, which he set up two years ago and is overseeing the company's expansion across Asia.

Eamonn was senior press secretary to Prime Ministers Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd and ran government communications for Premiers Anna Bligh and Morris Iemma. He's a veteran of many of Australian Labor's election campaigns, contributing to notable victories such as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's 2022 federal victory.

Born and raised in Hong Kong and educated in the UK, Eamonn began his career as a reporter at the South China Morning Post and later with The Sydney Morning Herald.

He's deeply committed to the not for profit sector and currently advises UNICEF Australia on their work across the region. He's in the board of Australia's leading NFP supporting migrant communities and building great social cohesion, the Social Policy Group, and previously led global communications for the international eye health charity, the Fred Hollows Foundation.
