In this next official Property Entrepreneur podcast, I'm going to do something that we have never done before.

Whilst in the news, you're going to get clickbait, you're going to get sexy statistics and you're going to get headlines and snapshots of information that makes you want to read and perhaps encourages a sense of panic in people and you can't talk people out of a chaos.

The key thing, especially at Board level, is to understand from all of that information that's out there, what are the cold, hard statistics? How do they apply to the economy in the current position and what do I need to do? And when do I need to do it, for my portfolio, for my business, and for my investments?

The key topic we're gonna look at in this podcast is the often misunderstood relationship between interest rates and inflation. There is a direct relationship between interest rates and inflation and when you understand how that works, it will enable you to make strategic decisions that whether it's wealth creation, management or diversification will enable you to get better results over both the short, medium and long term.

Whilst in the news you may have heard that we've had the fastest interest rate rise in ten years and the highest rate of inflation increase since the war, what you really need to understand is, what does that actually mean in practice? How does it apply to me and what decisions do I need to make in my business today and tomorrow?

In this podcast, I'm going to clear up the very misunderstood area and topic of interest rates, inflation, how they work, what you need to do, and when you need to apply this to your business in practice.
