The reality and practice is that most people just do not know how to do deals or how to make deals.

In most cases, this will mean that you're not getting the best deal, maybe you're selling things for less than they're worth or maybe you're overpaying - you're buying things that are overpriced.

In the best case, you're just not doing the best deals.

In the worst case, you're not getting the deals at all because you're competing with people who do know how to broker deals, they do know how to buy deals and they do know how to sell.

So whether you want to buy, broker or sell this is the top 10 do's and don'ts of being a dealmaker.
