IFS and MEN-tal Health (Men's Issues) with Justin Martin

IFS and MEN-tal Health (Men's Issues) with Justin Martin

On today's episode I chat with Justin Martin, an IFS therapist who lives in FL where he enjoys avoiding Disneyworld, taking advantage of the abundance of palm trees, and writing incredible poetry.

Justin has been IFS informed for a few years and is finishing his level one IFS training.

We talk about all things MEN. I so appreciate Justin's openness and vulnerability during our conversation.

We cover:

- Men's competitive parts

- Messages men get throughout their life and the need to exile vulnerable parts to fit in with the system around them

- Dating

- 'Nice Guys'

- The term 'Toxic Masculinity'

- Authenticity and Attachment

We end with Justin sharing several of his writings that are vulnerable and intimate.
