016 | Insights From An Award Winning Fitness Educator

Welcome back to the Fitness Legitness podcast. Every week, we talk about someone inspirational and someone who has made a difference in the field of health and fitness.

We often meet people who don't only plan to do things. They either do something, or they don't.

They set goals and take action. They don't know whether they'll get the desired results but they take action anyways. The one thing that in common with these individuals is their persistence. They challenge themselves to get better at what they do.

Mr. Jono Petroholis is one of those people, and I'm so pumped to have him on the show with us.

Jono started his journey as a personal trainer/bootcamp owner and now runs the biggest education platform for personal trainers. Jono talks about two critical aspects of any successful business enterprise.

The first thing that he talks about is standing out from the crowd. The second aspect is having the right mindset.

In this episode, we talk about how Jono was able to upskill his fitness legitness. Jono shares how he was able to differentiate himself from other personal trainers and add value to his clients.

His insights in the field of sales and marketing are eye-openers that will benefit your business immediately.

Jono saw two paths in front of him: the easy one and the difficult one. The easy path involved staying the same and blaming everyone else. The difficult path meant taking accountability for his actions and investing in himself.

Jono chose the difficult way.

Not only did he invest time and efforts in marketing, but he also strived to become the best trainer that he could be. He talks about what it takes to survive in the health and fitness industry, and be better than your competitors.

There's a lot of valuable information in this podcast. Listen to it so that you can unlock the secrets to developing a healthy mindset and getting your biz-sass back.

Highlights

(00:07:30): You know, maybe it's not the competition's fault that you're coming 75th. Maybe it's your fault that you haven't done enough to be better than the competition.

(00:15:10): I was like, the reason why I'm successful at bootcamp is I love it. The way I'm training. I like being around people. I just need to share what I love doing. And that led me to, to the core side of things.

(00: 40:00): Hey, if 99% of people aren't going to do it, great, I'm going to do it. And that's, what's going to push me ahead.

(00:42:50): If you're not ask yourself that question and write it down, write down the reasons why you're not successful. If any of those reasons are blaming anyone else, but yourself, you're gone.
