Hecox + West Virginia v. BPJ, both cases are about trans girls in sports. The ruling of all these cases could have detrimental impacts to the community in the future.

Chicago Ald. Jessie Fuentes Handcuffed by ICE

Alderperson Jesse Fuentes, one of nine LGBTQ alders in Chicago, was handcuffed inside a hospital by ICE for asking "Do you have a signed judicial warrant"? The federal agents weren't having it and aggressively placed the alderperson in handcuffs.

The BE gala was a fundraiser for the Center for Black Equity that celebrated Black LGBTQ+ activists, advocates and allies. Honorees included Dr. David Johns, Big Freedia & U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett to name a few.
