Supermoto Championship + My First Supermoto Race [S2 E28]

About two years ago, I got a RMZ250 for dirt riding. I raced it at Glen Helen and learned what a bummer it is to race and have to kick start a bike. So I did what every silly person would do: converted it to a supermoto.

I was curious to race, maybe hooligan or supermoto. So when I finally had a weekend available and saw Supermoto Championship in Bakersfield had an event, I signed up immediately! I was unprepared and a bit scared, but I found some very important lessons and made great memories with amazing people.

Bronson Pearce started his event because he wanted to create a premier event in his home town, Bakersfield, for people to race supermoto. It is part of an event with many shows included and thousands of fans gather each round to watch the races and cheer on. Bronson's family has a history in supermoto racing and he has competed at the highest national levels of flat track and supermoto in AMA.

The racers this event attracts are skilled riders, focused athletes, and humble, kind people. I was honored to be racing with them this weekend.
