EP13: 114 – Silencing the Lions in Your Cave

In this episode of the Iron Phoenix Podcast, Duke unpacks the meaning behind “114” — the deafening decibel level of a lion’s roar — and how it parallels the spiritual attacks we face when we’re at our weakest.

Drawing from 1 Peter 5:8, the story of Daniel in the lions’ den, and real moments of fear, guilt, and shame, Duke challenges listeners to recognize the “lions” in their caves: depression, pride, sin, and every voice of the enemy that tries to paralyze us with fear.

But just like Daniel, David, and Stephen, we’re reminded that we don’t stand in the cave alone. When we trust God, when we resist fear, and when we are full of the Holy Spirit, we have the power to silence the roar.

It’s time to stand up, shut the mouths of your lions, and remember who stands for you in the fight.

🔥 Don’t let the roar define your response. Fight back with faith.
