A riff on the Screwdriver, with Sloe Gin in place of Vodka, the Slow Crew cocktail family emerged in the 80s. LADS' version takes you on a sweet and sexy downtempo ride, perfect to while away a hot late summer night. Who are LADS? One German. One South African. Germafrican if you want. Meeting online (not Tinder), the two technical creatives ditched their failing modelling careers to make electronic music that babies are made to... This journey has led to the duo releasing on labels such as Lost & Found, Akbal, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Buddha Bar and seen their music supported by some of the biggest names in the industry including Solomun, Adriatique, Acid Pauli, Be Svendsen, Guy J and more. Being away from the clubs and festivals, the duo decided to go on a downtempo listening journey with their exclusive mix for Schirmchendrink. "This really allows the listener to appreciate the space in between the rhythms and melodies. We named this mix after a cocktail out of the 1980s and 1990s with a racy name and definitely way too much sugar 😉 Enjoy this long comfortable screw against the wall.
