Her exploration of the world of wine began when she ran a catering company part-time while at university. It blossomed on her return to London, after six years spent working in TV production and publishing in Australia, when she became deputy editor for Decanter online, the website of the UK's leading consumer wine magazine. On leaving the magazine in 2001, Natasha began a successful and diverse career that has included writing for some of the world's most respected magazines and websites. Her first solo book, The Wines of Beaujolais, was published in 2025 by the Academie du Vin Library. In addition to writing, Natasha consults for businesses and private clients and hosts seminars and tastings for members of the trade and the public. Natasha also judges at wine competitions around the world. She became a Master of Wine in 2014, winning four out of the seven available awards that year, including the Outstanding Achievement Award for best overall performance in the exams. After study and work experiences in Istanbul (Turkey), London (UK), and finally New York, Alessandro joined Colangelo & Partners, a NYC-based integrated marketing agency specialized in food, wine & spirits, in 2011. In five years Alessandro grew his responsibilities to the level of directing all marketing activities for Italian wine clients. Alessandro joined Wilson Daniels Wholesale in NY as sales representative in February 2016, with the goal to expand the distribution of the Italian portfolio in the NYC metro area. Since April 2018 Alessandro is the National Italian Specialist and Brand Manager of Wilson Daniels, focusing on promoting the Italian wines to the main leading fine wine markets. As of March 2022, Alessandro is the National Portfolio Director for the Italian Estates. Alessandro was awarded a Professional Certificate in Digital Media Marketing from New York University in 2010, the WSET Advanced Level 3 certificate at the International Wine Center in New York in 2014, the Italian Wine Professional Certificate at Italian Wine Central in 2015 and the CSW certificate by the Society of Wine Educators in 2018. The winery is awarded the Best Biodynamic White Wine 2024 Trophy for Soave Doc San Brizio 2022 in Wine Without Walls, a section of 5StarWines – the Book wine selection in 2024 More about today’s winery: Sisto, Elena and Pietro Tessari are the 4th generation of the Tessari family. Sisto is the agronomist and representative of export markets. Pietro is the oenologist / winemaker.  Elena, with a degree in Economics and Business, is responsible for marketing and public relations. She is a sommelier, "Donna del Vino" and "Castellana di Soave".  The winery is located in Costalunga di Monteforte d’Alpone (Veneto, Italy) in the Soave wine area,  with black  basalt rocks and volcanic origin. The main grapes they produce are Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave - 70% of the production is white wines. They are also associated with FIVI, the Italian Federation of Independent winegrowers. 3. They are part of the Associazione Ville Venete - Venetian Villas Association.  The estate name, La Cappuccina,  comes from the ancient chapel where the Capuchins once officiated. They  have decided, for ever greater quality, to carry out all of the different phases of wine production – from the vine to the bottling line – according to Organic precepts since 1985 with a biodynamic view. That’s why, they are, nowdays, considered organic pioneers and regarded as one of the leading producers of organic wine in Italy.
