Early this morning, Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the murder of four University of Idaho students was flown by police from Pennsylvania where he was captured, all the way back to the state where cops say he committed the crime. Jim Moret has the very latest. And initial reports called it a horrible accident, a family going over a California cliff in their Tesla, but miraculously surviving! Now the story has taken a shocking turn…police have arrested the father, who happens to be a doctor, and charged him with attempted murder. Plus, the entire nation continues to pray for Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin who suffered a cardiac arrest on the field after making a tackle. As frightening as the situation continues to be, there is a silver lining. It’s now led to a huge surge in people signing up for CPR classes. And before the suspect in the Idaho murders Bryan Kohberger was arrested he was studying criminology...specifically the notorious BTK serial killer. So were the two communicating? We asked that very question to the BTK killer's own daughter.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. As we head into another holiday weekend, the Southwest Airlines debacle goes on, with thousands more flights canceled today. The horror stories of stranded passengers keep coming, including from this bride to be... who was desperately trying to get her fiancé to the wedding on time. As Jim Moret reports, it wasn't the only wedding thrown into chaos. In addition, Southwest today vowed to return to normal service tomorrow with minimal disruptions over New Year's weekend... that will be music to the ears of travelers waiting in line for a rent-a-car. As Sibila Vargas reports, all those flight cancellations have led to a rental car shortage. Plus, more evidence that the house where those four University of Idaho students were murdered was party central. Another video has surfaced of cops showing up because of a noise complaint... and one of the female victims, Kaylee, can be seen just months before she was slain. And it's almost one year since the death of America's dad, Bob Saget. The full house star died in a hotel room from head trauma, and now his widow is giving an update on how she and her daughters are doing - and it’s still hard for her to talk about her late husband without crying. Have investigators trying to solve the murder of those four University of Idaho students hit a roadblock? That's what many fear as the police department posts a blanket request for the public's help. It comes as new bodycam video surfaces of one of the victims. Steven Fabian has details. And the nightmare after Christmas continues - Southwest canceled thousands more flights today but it's not only people stranded; mountains of luggage are also piling up. That's why many travelers are singing this woman's praises… she's being called the “Lost Luggage Angel”. Sibila Vargas tells us why. Plus, the epidemic of smash-and-grab robberies at retail stores has dramatically increased this holiday season. Frustrated business owners are going to great lengths to both deter criminals and stay safe. As Jim Moret reports, some stores are even making sure their workers have panic buttons. And how many times have you heard Mariah Carey's “All I Want For Christmas Is You” this season? Probably too many to count! It’s become a Christmas classic, but it's also at the center of a war of words over who wrote the tune. Now Mariah is making her case with a flashback video. If you traveled over the holiday weekend, chances are it was far from stress-free. Across the country, thousands of flights were canceled and delayed as millions were trying to get home from their Christmas vacations - and as Jim Moret reports, many are still struggling to get home. And the severe winter weather added to the travel nightmare. Winds and fierce blizzard conditions affected hundreds of millions of Americans and nowhere was the weather more destructive than in Buffalo. Total white-out conditions left motorists stranded on the roads and taking refuge anywhere they could - even hunkering down in the local Target. Plus, there are only four days left to 2022, and at the crossroads of the world, Times Square, they're already planning for the big ball drop. Sibila Vargas got a sneak peek. And he's being called Congress' talented Mr. Ripley... Republican Congressman-elect George Santos is being accused of fabricating major portions of his resume. It's a big deal since he could help Republicans gain a majority in the house. Now he's breaking his silence admitting he wasn't entirely truthful - but despite calls for him to resign, he says he's not going anywhere.
