It's the story that's shocking the country - a high school athlete fatally stabbing another athlete at a track meet. The 17-year-old charged with first-degree murder, who said he acted in self-defense, is out on bail. Now, for the first time his parents are breaking their silence saying they are being unfairly targeted. And is Elon Musk the father of actress Amber Heard's babies? The ex of Johnny Depp, who has a four-year-old daughter and another on the way, has never revealed the identity of the father, but it's now being reported she and Musk had embryos frozen when they dated. And after a Wall Street Journal story claimed musk has a harem of women delivering as many of his babies as possible, many are wondering if Heard's children are indeed, Musk's. Plus, today is the day the Menendez brothers have been waiting for, for more than three decades… a chance to be resentenced with the hope of being freed from prison. Several family members showed up at the courthouse for support including Erik Menendez’s daughter. And it’s been a popular candy for generations - the Jawbreaker. Police bodycam video is answering some of the mysteries surrounding the death of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife. And there's one very poignant moment -- as cops discover the bodies, they see one of the couple's beloved dogs keeping watch - loyal to the very end. And she's the teacher who cops say attended a party at the principal's house involving alcohol and drugs and 200 students, many of them underage. Now just-released bodycam video from the moment police arrive at the party shows the teacher telling them she's not drunk, but based on how she was acting, they don't believe her. Cops arrested her for disorderly conduct and intoxication. The teacher denies the criminal allegations. Plus, some shoppers got quite the scare when a bear showed up- at the mall- leading to lots of screams and shoppers running for their lives. And Elon Musk is said to be the father of 14 kids with four different women, but a bombshell report in the Wall Street Journal questions if those numbers are a lot higher. It quotes the mother of one of his children who claims he has the equivalent of a modern-day harem, and he's trying to have as many children as possible.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Police chases are common in Los Angeles, but this may be the craziest yet. After a multi-vehicle hit-and-run, a suspect flees on foot, stripping down to his underwear and then starts watering plants, cops say, to blend in. And if that's not wild enough - during the manhunt cops ended up shooting and injuring the wife of a rock star who they say aimed her gun at them.  And a woman needed to get home from a girls night out so she took a ride share, never in a million years thinking something this horrifying would happen. The driver got her home, but she says he then groped her right on her front porch. Plus, President Trump is talking about why he decided to put a 90-day pause on his tariffs with an interesting word choice - he said he changed his mind because everyone was getting "yippy." - and had a lot of people Googling what it meant! Huge news out of Washington today, as President Trump puts his sweeping tariff plan on pause for 90 days - leading to a huge surge in the stock market. While this may avoid big price hikes on many imported goods, the president is not sparing China, so products from that country are still expected to cost a lot more and that includes iPhones - which could almost double in price! And a lovely young woman moved to New York City to pursue her dream of working on Broadway as a costume designer. It came true, but the unthinkable has happened. She was randomly attacked by a deranged man who stabbed her in the neck with a broken bottle, now there's outrage that the suspect with a long rap sheet and mental health issues was out on the streets. Plus, a married teacher is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student right in a classroom. Now, we're learning that cops say she kept a torrid diary on her phone in which she allegedly expressed hope the affair would stop but continue after the student graduated. And she was a Hollywood bombshell often compared to Marilyn Monroe, then Jayne Mansfield died in a car accident. As you may know, her daughter is Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit star Mariska Hargitay. She was in the car during the crash, but has never talked publicly what happened to her mom until now.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
