The FBI is now revealing Donald Trump's would-be assassin searched for details about how far away shooter Lee Harvey Oswald was when he made the fatal shot. Ann Mercogliano has our report, and we warn you the video may be intense for some viewers. And Kamala Harris was in Indianapolis today, her second stop as a presidential candidate. Plus, six days after that Microsoft computer glitch there's still chaos, Delta Airlines continues to be the hardest hit with more than 5,000 flights delayed so far. That's led to a new problem - children traveling alone being stranded for hours at airports. As Alison Hall reports that's led to lots of panicked parents. And you know all about the Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone National Park, but this is even more dramatic. The Republican National Convention is underway and the assassination attempt over the weekend on former President Trump has dramatically changed the tone of the convention. With speeches being re-written to focus on a message of unity. It's been more than 40 years since an attempt has been made on a sitting or former president's life - not since Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981. And Trump is praising the secret service agents for their heroic actions, taking down the gunman with quote "one shot between the eyes." The counter sniper made the shot from 140 yards away, saving not only the former president but many others in the crowd. Plus, we're learning more about the 20-year-old shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, who graduated high school two years ago. He didn't have much of a social media presence and fellow classmates say he was a loner who kept to himself. He can however be seen in the background of a TV commercial that just happened to be shot at his school. And the assassination attempt came just two days before the start of the convention in Milwaukee. 50,000 people are in Milwaukee for the event, and security officials say they are ready to go.
