Former President Trump's fourth indictment will provide his first ever mug shot, in fact the first mug shot for any president in U.S. history. He's heading to Georgia to be formally arrested on multiple charges he tried to interfere with the 2020 Presidential Election in the state. As Ann Mercogliano reports, it’s believed Trump picked the time to surrender to get maximum press coverage. And the debate is on over who won the first Republican presidential debate. One of the moderators called Trump “the elephant not in the room” - which drew boos from the crowd. Things got heated on stage too, as the eight White House hopefuls clashed on...well, just about everything. Plus, has new evidence been found to link the notorious BTK serial killer to more murders? Dennis Rader is serving life in prison after being convicted of ten murders...but now he's been named the prime suspect in unsolved murders in two different states. And a guy who took a BMW out for a joy ride is in a heap of trouble - because it wasn't his car. It was at the shop where he's a mechanic. Or rather was…now he's temporarily out of a job.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Rudy Giuliani who turned himself in to be booked on charges in connection with efforts to throw out the 2020 Georgia presidential vote today. Former President Trump and the other defendants have until Friday to surrender to the Fulton County sheriff. Although, Giuliani has told the court he's out of money…he arrived in Atlanta via private jet. And the man who led a coup attempt against Vladimir Putin is presumed to be dead. Yevgeny Prigozhin was listed among the passengers on board a plane that was shot down just north of Moscow. Ever since the failed rebellion, many have considered Prigozhin a “dead man walking.”    Plus, she's the young woman who shoved an old lady who later died. The victim was a much loved vocal coach whose death made headlines...and today the woman responsible for her death pled guilty. Steven Fabian was at the courthouse. And the number one song on the Billboard Charts isn't Taylor Swift or Beyonce - it's Oliver Anthony a farmer who has touched a nerve with working class Americans.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It was a first day of school a classroom of third graders will probably never forget. When the teacher was reportedly acting weird, a school official checked in and thought the teacher smelled of booze. Then after denying she had been drinking that day, she blew three times the legal limit on a breathalyzer. And the clean-up continues in the wake of tropical storm Hilary which dumped nearly a year's worth of rain in some areas in just a matter of hours. One of those places was Cathedral City, near Palm Springs, where desert sands were transformed into dangerous mud. At one assisted living facility, they needed earth movers to rescue some of the elderly residents. Plus, in the heat of the summer, there's nothing more refreshing than ice cream. However, there was something terribly wrong at one ice cream shop - three people died and six others ended up in the hospital after having milkshakes. And she's a former juvenile court judge now starring on her own TV show. And she's a victim of groping and she says it left her shattered. Judge Hatchett was assaulted by, of all people, a local sheriff. Now he's out of a job…and the judge is speaking with our Les Trent. It's a one-two punch by mother nature in Southern California...first Tropical Storm Hilary brought floods to Los Angeles dousing iconic locations including dodger stadium...then came a magnitude 5.1 earthquake sending things flying and residents running. Jim Moret is there. And it was a crime that shocked the nation…a teacher was fatally gunned down in her parents driveway. Now five years later, one of her former students who was romantically linked to the teacher has been named a prime suspect. He says he’s innocent. Plus, she's the 19-year-old we told you about last week who was dubbed “hell on wheels” after being found guilty of deliberately causing a horrible crash - driving her car into a brick wall at high speeds murdering her boyfriend and another teen. Now it's her sentencing day. And like a lot of teens, she got a summer job lifeguarding at a local pool...then disaster. She was rushed to the hospital after being struck by lightning. The split between Britney Spears and her husband of 14 months is already getting nasty. He filed for divorce yesterday...but word is the couple separated nearly a month ago. Right after the news broke, Britney took to Instagram to say she's buying a horse. And Smash and grab robberies have become an almost daily occurrence in Los Angeles and today, city officials said they're cracking down. A task force is being formed to prosecute anyone connected with them and promising no one will be granted bail. Plus, it wasn't reckless driving…it was murder. That's the conclusion of a judge who found a 19-year-old guilty of murdering her boyfriend and another teen by deliberately causing a horrible accident. And a couple was at home when they heard a loud crash on their roof. Outside their yard was covered in chunks of ice, but it wasn't monster hail. We've told how brazen crime has been in Southern California. Well, imagine getting an alert from your security camera that a group of guys in hoodies were crawling commando style onto your property. It happened to a homeowner who is also a best-selling crime author. And severe weather in the Northeast has led to a very sad story in our nation’s capital. Floodwaters overtook a doggie day care center killing ten pets. It all played out on live TV as panicked dog owners rushed to the scene to see if their beloved pet was ok. Plus, he was once called “America's Mayor.” Today, Rudy Giuliani is an unindicted co-conspirator in the January 6th case…and facing 13 criminal counts in the Georgia election tampering case. His law license is suspended in both New York and Washington, and he's reportedly broke. And he's the actor who starred opposite Sandra Bullock in the Oscar winning movie The Blind Side, and he says he's heartbroken over news that the inspiring football player he portrayed is now suing the couple he says he thought had adopted him.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It is unprecedented - but not unexpected. Donald Trump has now been indicted for a fourth time…on the anticipated criminal charges connected to trying to find votes in Georgia after he lost the 2020 presidential election. The former president now has ten days to turn himself in to authorities, and as Steven Fabian reports, this latest case is likely the most serious yet for Trump. And it's police bodycam footage that highlights a disagreement between the wife arrested in the Bahamas accused of ordering a hit on her estranged husband. Cops were called after a dispute when Lindsey Shiver apparently changed her plans last minute to ride on the family's private plane to the Bahamas, which her husband told cops was just to meet up with her lover. Five days later she was arrested. Lindsay Shiver denies ordering a hit on her estranged husband. Plus, a judge is on his way into court today...not to oversee a case. He's being arraigned himself...accused of murdering his wife. Prosecutors say he texted his clerk and bailiff that he wouldn’t be into work for the next day saying he just shot his wife. The judge has pled not guilty. Jim Moret has the latest from the courthouse in Southern California. And American Idol alum Katharine McPhee recently rushed home from her overseas tour because of quote a horrible family tragedy. We later learned her nanny had died, but we didn't have any details…until now.
