PAUSE… But before the emotions take over, Before your worries become too loud, Let yourself sleep, Deeply sleep. Because sleep makes it all better. Relax your body, As you breathe fully into your belly. Letting the air clear what’s inside. PAUSE… Exhale completely, Releasing every bit of the day, And letting all those things float by. She modeled love, Unconditional, true love. She helped mold you into the woman you are today. Your mother. So the intentions of today’s meditation is to honor your mother.  This could be your birth mother, your adopted mother or even a woman who has been a mother figure for you throughout your life.   So close your eyes,  And invite your body to relax.   Become aware of your mind slowing down, And then let yourself feel your breath.  Feel the oxygen entering your body, expanding your chest and belly. And feel your breath leave through your exhale as your body pulls back in.  Breathe in. Breathe out.  Come into this moment.  Relaxed, And clear. PAUSE… Let an image of your mother or mother figure come to mind. It could be an image of her in the present moment, Or a memory you have of her as a young girl. Just hold the image of her in your mind.  Let yourself observe her. Notice her eyes, Her facial expression, Her hair,  Her posture.  Imagine she’s sitting in her favorite chair,  A smile on her face, ready to be with you.  You feel special. Loved. Grateful.   PAUSE... I love you, you hear yourself say. And you see her face soften and light up.  So you continue… You have shown me what love is.  You’ve shown me love through your tenderness, your toughness, your discipline and your play.  You’ve modeled for me what it means to be a woman,  And that foundation has helped me blossom into my own version of womanhood.  I’ve come to see how imperfect you are,  Yet still have oceans of love for you. Thank you for being you. I’m so grateful I am your daughter.  PAUSE… Now take a moment to look at her. And for the next little bit, invite yourself to say anything else you’d like with her, wrapped in this safe space of love.  LONG PAUSE... Now come back to your breath. Taking a deep, cleansing breath in, Feeling the fresh air fill you up, And as you exhale, release it all,  And feel the waves of peace wash over you. PAUSE... Allow yourself to be here, In this special space of stillness, With your mother, Surrounded by love. Just a few clicks makes it easy for you to listen on your favorite podcast player.  Become a PREMIUM member today by going to --> https://WomensMeditationNetwork.com/premium When sleep won’t come   And thoughts won’t stop.   When the heart won’t settle,   And the limbs won’t still.   It’s time to close your eyes and release the day.     PAUSE…   Every day we live is a day we struggle,   Every choice we make is one we can regret.   Every voice we hear can sound like a critic,   Every message to ourselves can break us into bits.     PAUSE…   But sleep is the perfect door closer.   Sleep is the way we clean the slate.   Sleep is the way we release yesterday.   Sleep is the way we prepare to start again.     PAUSE…   So, if you’re ready to find forgiveness.   If you’re ready to cut yourself some slack.   Let your head melt into your pillow,   Breathe, and let it all fade to black.   LONG PAUSE… See that clean slate, breathe it in.   Blow out the negative voices, nothing ugly gets in.   PAUSE…   Begin with a list of loving words,   Ideas you want in your life.   Watch your mind jot them down,   Snap a picture so you don’t forget.     PAUSE…   Go through the words one by one,   Absorbing what each means to you.   Add pictures, colors, stars, and lights,   Until each wish glows and shines.     PAUSE…   Think about how you get there,   How you manifest each desire.   Think about which needs matter most,   And which ones just make life fun.     PAUSE… Imagine what your smile looks like,   On the day these wishes come true.   Visualize yourself in your very best place,   And know you can get there soon.     LONG PAUSE…   Forgive yourself as you inhale, acknowledge you make mistakes.   Accept yourself as you exhale, remembering that mistakes allow us to grow.     PAUSE…   Who is tomorrow’s person?   Who do you want her to be?   Does she speak her mind, or start the trend,   Or simply smile at everyone she sees?   PAUSE…   Does she take a big career risk?   Does she speak her love out loud?   Does she draw a line to protect herself?   Does she listen to the voice of her muse?     PAUSE…   Do others start to take notice?   Or does she keep her transformation to herself?   Does she hold her head up higher,   Or slip on her new confidence like a sweater?     PAUSE…   The ‘she’ is you, remember.   The ‘she’ is who you long to be.   And now that you’ve made your wish list concrete,   It’s time to set that ‘she’ free.     LONG PAUSE…   Take a steady, knowing breath, feel the deeper you within.   Release that breath into the world, giving life to your new plan.     PAUSE…   A day is such fleeting thing,   Like a sliver of a life.   A mistake is even tinier than that,   One leaf on a towering oak.     PAUSE…   Though a tree relies on leaves to survive,   There’s a time to let them go as well.   Think of day’s end as your personal autumn,   And let the leaves that don’t serve you fall.     PAUSE…   Sweep away what you do not need,   Lean into what you’ve learned.   Whether you smell burning leaves or sneeze chalkboard dust,   Progress fills the air.     PAUSE… It’s exciting to think about who waits for you,   On the other side of dawn.   It’s exhilarating to imagine setting her free,   To walk the path that’s been hers all along.     LONG PAUSE…   Inhale fully, inviting the change.   Exhale wholly, understanding what’s possible.   PAUSE…   Bring your attention back to rest,   To the sleep that makes everything new.   Wrap yourself in calm forgiveness,   As you drift into a loving space.     PAUSE…    💗💗💗 Check out all the deals from our incredible sponsors here! --> https://womensmeditationnetwork.com/sponsors 💗💗💗 Check out all of our other podcasts at https://womensmeditationnetwork.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. PAUSE Keep inhaling and exhaling deeply and fully until your breathing forms a cadence of slow, deep breaths. PAUSE And, as you breathe, continue to feel  the energy of peace moving through you. LONG PAUSE Now, imagine relaxing in a pool with turquoise water on a summer afternoon, while slate-colored clouds cluster above you. PAUSE The clouds billow  and pile on top of each other like popcorn popping. Wisps of ale sunlight  surrounds them and the rest of the sky. PAUSE After a moment, the air smells sweet with rain, and a pea-sized raindrop touches your cheek, followed by another, and another. PAUSE You peek up at the sky  and realize that clouds  have gathered into one rain cloud, and that it’s this one gray cloud that now sheds tears.   PAUSE Looking over the pool, you notice that  a handful of raindrops are dropping in the pool.  PAUSE The raindrops are  fat and heavy, and each time  one drops in the pool, it bounces into a tiny explosion like a fountain  surging with water. PAUSE Around the pool, dozens of miniature fountains explode with the beauty and precision of a ballet. PAUSE Listening, you notice that  each water droplet sounds its own chorus with a gentle “splat,” when it meets the surface of the pool PAUSE Then, after a moment, the water ballet becomes more connected, with groups of drops descending into the pool together in a symphony of pattering. PAUSE A breeze kicks up, and like a magic carpet, carries a petite pink blossom into the pool. PAUSE The blossom swirls and sashays through the water.  PAUSE After a few moments, the petals of the blossom separate and float toward the corners of the pool like delicate lotus flowers.   PAUSE A stray leaf lands in the pool,  bobbing up and down before being picked up and tossed around by the breeze. PAUSE Leaning against the side of the pool, you let the cool rain skip on your face and listen as the breeze sings in the trees. PAUSE After a few moments,  the raindrops slow their dance, and an arm of the sun cuts through the gray cloud above. PAUSE  Soon, the sun reaches  fully through the rain cloud and sends it  floating away in innocent pieces. PAUSE The breeze quiets, and its song is replaced by a pair of chirping cardinals. PAUSE The delicate blossoms  have sunk to the bottom, one of them next to  a child’s forgotten mask. PAUSE The sweet smell of rain  has dissolved from the air, replaced with the weight of humidity that clings to everything.  PAUSE And, as you gaze toward the sky, the last raindrop pooling on your cheek dries, and you feel the warm kiss of the sun as the rest of the day unfolds. Just a few clicks makes it easy for you to listen on your favorite podcast player.  Become a PREMIUM member today by going to --> https://WomensMeditationNetwork.com/premium Settle your body,   Close your eyes,   Let your mind wander upward,   Imagine the skies.     PAUSE…   Fill your mind with thoughts of clouds,   Feel their light, fluffy softness throughout your body.   Picture yourself floating up and away,   Beyond every worry, every trouble.     PAUSE…   Nothing can touch you up in the clouds,   You’re free to be as you truly are.   While all of the struggles and dilemmas of life   Stay trapped on the ground below.     PAUSE…   Focus on that weightless feeling,   On the lightness in your cells.   Feel them lift and inflate like helium balloons,   Making your body buoyant and unbound.     PAUSE…   Picture your thoughts like balloons as well,   Slipping upward and out of reach.   Your mind is a clear blue canvas,   Full of nothing but possibility.     LONG PAUSE… Take a deep, lifting breath, and rise into piercing blue peace.   Release and float even higher, making space for tranquility. PAUSE…   Turn your eye to the shape of the clouds,   Like humans, all so varied and unique.   And just when you glimpse a vision in one,   It shifts to offer something new.     PAUSE…   Pay attention to what the light does,   As it slips between cloud layers.   Notice the way it shines through their tiers,   Lighting up angelic realms in our midst.     PAUSE…   Sometimes when the light is right,   And the clouds move into place,   Brilliant arcs reach toward the ground,   Like celestial arms offering their love.     PAUSE…   It would be so nice to tuck right in,   To feel the clouds’ warm hold. To know that we are safe and well,   Watched over as we sleep.     LONG PAUSE…   Imagine yourself in that place as you breathe, inhaling that lofty air.   Sink into warm protection as you exhale, aware of how fortunate you are.     PAUSE…   The clouds at night are stunning as well,   Backlit by the moon.   They shift and shine like starlit beacons,   A promise of magic to come.   PAUSE…   Stories wait in those dreamy skies,   Stories you’ll tell yourself as you sleep.   Let your mind soar as your body rests,   Bringing joy to your day-weary soul.     PAUSE…   Day or night, clouds capture us,   For they speak the language of dreams.   Crafting messages with their whimsical shapes,   And reminding us it’s okay to believe.     PAUSE…   The meaning is different for each of us,   Though the image may appear the same.   The clouds know what we need to grasp,   The gentle lift we need to feel.     LONG PAUSE…   Pull in a deep and calming breath, let it spread through every cell.   Press out the stress that does not serve you, delight in the space it leaves behind.     PAUSE…   As you drift ever closer to sleep,   Picture bigger and fluffier clouds.   Imagine things you haven’t before,   Create downy playgrounds in your mind.     PAUSE…   Everything there exists for your good,   Whether mountain or castle or bear.   Take in whatever the visions tell you,   Rest well in their cottony embrace.     PAUSE…   It feels so good to float and drift,   Sweet respite from the world.   Your hopes and wishes join the clouds,   Taking shape as they raise you up.   PAUSE…   Ideas you’ve never considered before,   Glide gently across your mind. Promise and potential blend easily,   As obstacles fade away.    LONG PAUSE…   Take a breath and inhale the new, let your spirit soar and grow.   Release the breath on a wave of bliss, delighting in what you know. It feels quite impossible, To survive in this state. So breathe in deep, And expand your belly wide, The air will bring new life, And create more space inside.  PAUSE… Breathe in deep again, And let it slow you down. Breathe out fully now, Feel lighter all around. PAUSE… Breathe in and relax, Breathe out and release. Breathe in, Breathe out.  LONG PAUSE… Acknowledge those fears, See them with clear eyes, Honor that they’re here, Listen to their cries.  PAUSE… There’s wisdom there, Beyond those scary screams. Take a good look inside of them, Fear is more than what it seems.  LONG PAUSE… What is fear saying? What is really there? If you open yourself to listen, Perhaps fear will share. PAUSE… I’m here to protect you, she says. To keep you safe and alive. You’ve been hurt before, And I just want you to survive.  PAUSE… You breathe in slowly, And gently embrace your fear. You thank her for her love, Then whisper in her ear. PAUSE… I will hold your hand, As we walk through this new door, You’ll be by my side, But your voice, I must ignore.  PAUSE… I must choose what’s best, To thrive in my own way. Even when it’s scary, And you freeze me so I’ll stay. PAUSE… You come within yourself, And find the stillness inside. Here you see the truth, Here you cannot hide.  PAUSE… You take fear’s hand, And suddenly you know. All her power has faded, You are free to go. LONG PAUSE… Breathe, And relax. Breathe, And release.
