Ep 161: Stop Giving Your Power Away Part 1

Ep 161: Stop Giving Your Power Away Part 1

Start Your Transformation Now I know you’ve probably never thought of it in these terms, but simply by virtue of being a human, you have amazing power!  Now the question is, given the title of this episode, how much of your power do you give away? Most people, in an effort to please others and to be liked, give away a huge amount of their power and don’t even realize they are doing it. And, what happens when you give away your power…you’re powerless…that’s what. And, what happens when you’re powerless? This is a short episode and I introduce the subject of giving your power away. I give you an amazingly simple exercise to do so you can start keeping more power in your life. What does this mean? I’ll explain more about it in the next episode. Right now this episode is going to be an awareness and the start of you making choices to stop being controlled by others! So, for now, give the episode a listen and do what I suggest you do and we’ll go to the next step next week. Transformational Takeaway: You give your power away when you live your life by what others think you should and should not do. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 160: Go Beyond Your Limits

Ep 160: Go Beyond Your Limits

Start Your Transformation Now I take a couple of different angles in this episode. Specifically, I talk about the socially learned human limitations we are taught, the handicap of qualifying life and that “living up to your potential” is not about potential, it’s about your subconscious identity. It’s hard for most of us to grasp but 99% of our limitations are learned. This takes me back to a story I want to share. If I asked you if you think a 56-year-old man, two weeks out of the hospital with a heart attack and zero training and preparation could run 75 consecutive marathons, what would you say? Would you say, “No way” he could do that? Or, do you think that he could? I answer that question in this episode. It dawned on me a few years back that I lived my life through “quantification.” I “counted” things to determine what was good and bad in life. What was acceptable and not. What was a good measure of success and achievement, etc. A while back I learned this is a failed strategy as it keeps us on the merry-go-round of life quantification. Meaning, we’re good enough when we achieve certain things and to certain degrees and we’re falling short when we’re not achieving those numbered quantifications. It’s my attempt in this episode to get you to start letting go of that universally ingrained thinking that keeps us trapped. Has there ever been a time you did something and you initially thought that there was no way you could do it? Most people can say yes to this. Well, it’s not that you can’t do something, it’s that you have “perceived” that you can’t do that and we explore that in this episode. As well, we look at a few real-life scenarios from my own life where either I or someone I knew thought we could not do things, and we actually did them when we stopped “quantifying them.” To add a different perspective on quantification, the Navy Seals have what they call the Rule of 40% and what that means is when you think you’re tired, worn out, exhausted and you have nothing left in you, you still have 40% more energy in you to use and to keep going. We explore that a bit in this episode. And, we wrap up with the fact that you achieving in life has nothing to do with your potential but with the perceptions of your potential. You’re unlimited with unlimited ability, it’s your perceptions about what you cannot and can do that determines that ability. Transformational Takeaway: You’ll never know what you can do until you go beyond your limits because they are not your limits they are your perceived limits! Ep 159: Fear Is The Idleness Of Will

Ep 159: Fear Is The Idleness Of Will

Start Your Transformation Now What does this mean?  I first heard this phrase from Eliphas Levi, and 1880s an occultist. I heard it years ago and I incorporated it into my thinking many years ago. It changed my life and it will change yours too. (If you chose to live your life by it.)  So, if you’re like most people you may be wondering what it really means? It’s pretty simple.  We all have a life force in us. We can call it consciousness, energy, God or whatever you want, but we can direct this life force to do our bidding when we stay out of fear and learn to “channel it” with our attention.  Our “will” is a super powerful force…and we can accomplish anything when we learn to use it.  For example, has there ever been a time when you “KNEW” you were going to make something happen, and you did? Well, you used your “will” to drive it all.  In this episode I talk about your will, how to use it, my years of experience learning to master it and how powerful it can be for you. This is a simple but powerful concept and episode.  I share my twenty past years of learning to master will and I teach you in simple steps how you can too. And, when I say small simple steps, it’s literally only one step.  Listen, apply and expect miracles in your life when you master your will.  Transformational Takeaway: Fear is the idleness of will. Ep 158: Do You Need To Trust Yourself More?

Ep 158: Do You Need To Trust Yourself More?

Start Your Transformation Now This is huge for a lot of people, and truth be told, for many years I didn’t trust myself either. That is, until I recognized that I’m going to share with you in this episode.  As you’ll hear in this episode, “trusting yourself” is such a generic way to look at ourselves. It’s generally never about trusting ourselves it’s more about trusting our ability to create a desired outcome.  Often times we want XYZ in life, a desired outcome, but we don’t act because we don’t trust we’ll get the outcome. And, then, if you’re like me, you’d be frozen, not act and then be frustrated because you were not getting what you want in life. And, my old thought paradigm was, “I didn’t get XYZ because because I did not trust myself to take action and leap.” As you’ll hear, that’s an ineffective way to approach this.  When we stop to think about it, it’s not about trusting ourselves, it’s actually about trusting our ability, yet we experience it as a lack of trust in self – which is what I meant by looking at it generically.  In this episode I put a whole new understanding on the concept of trusting ourselves. One that will empower you to take action on things that you want in life without regard to how much you trust yourself.  What you’ll discover is that trusting ourselves is often sabotaged because we don’t expect that we’ll get an outcome, and in that moment it’s no longer about trust, it’s about expectation.  Transformational Takeaway: When you let go of an expectation and attachment to an outcome, self-trust becomes easy. Ep 157: Chelsea: The Power Of Choice To Change Your Life

Ep 157: Chelsea: The Power Of Choice To Change Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now In this segment I interview Chelsea, a former student, and she shares how she’s dramatically changed her life in the past year. It’s almost impossible to title or classify this episode because we talked about so much and the major themes are Gratitude, Control, Issues and Choice. I picked this interview because it’s a simple yet power sharing and most of us can relate to where she was stuck in life. We talk about… [03:19]The power of inner peace and the power that gives you in life. [04:26] Why it’s VITAL to pick a focus in life and disregard all else that pulls you off track. [19:46]The pitfalls of worrying about what others think of you [39:59]Her take on mastering BE – DO – HAVE. [44:04]Why it’s important to not let our external worlds drive us [45:38]The sheer power of knowing what you want in life [49:11]And, her steps for going from a life of struggle to more abundance than she has ever had. As I just said, it was hard to categorize this interview but I promise, you’ll find some valuable takeaways. As well, her story and sharing will apply to both men and women and I think some women will find it especially powerful. Mentioned Resources: Sign up for the upcoming BE-DO-HAVE Training here! Ep 155: An Interview - Subconscious Values, Habits, Self-talk, and Choice

Ep 155: An Interview - Subconscious Values, Habits, Self-talk, and Choice

Start Your Transformation Now Nic was a recent student of mine and we visit about his transformational path and how much he has changed in the last six months and how you can too.  This episode is near impossible to title as we talked about so much. The primary things we talked about are: subconscious values, self-talk, subconscious habits and choice. And, a whole lot more but this gives you an idea of the treasures in this episode.  As you’ll hear, Nic thought he had life “dialed in” and thought he had it all together until we worked together and he quickly discovered that he was working at a small percentage of his ability.  An amazing story he shared and this applies to many, many people is that even though he had his life “all together” he was struggling with why he could never get to the next level in life. He reveals his huge “ah-ha” moments with me and I’m certain this will apply to many people.  As stated in the headline, we dive deep into his realization of how his subconscious values were driving him, and yet he did not know it. This will be a huge and eye-opening segment for you listening.  Another key takeaway is the importance of “inner-outer alignment” and how he’s used this to better align his entire life.  Candidly, there is a ton in this episode and there will be pretty much something for everyone so give it a listen and enjoy!  Mentioned Resources: Sign up for the upcoming BE DO HAVE Training here! Ep 154: Intrinsic Raditude Is The Attitude

Ep 154: Intrinsic Raditude Is The Attitude

Start Your Transformation Now As you read the headline you probably thought, “What…what the heck is intrinsic ratitude?” Right? Totally understandable and “ratitude” is my word for ‘radical gratitude’ and intrinsic is what’s deep inside of you and inherent to your BEing. When I say intrinsic to your being, I mean things like your ability to see, smell, taste, feel, and even your ability for your heart to beat and for you to breathe. Oprah has said, “Gratitude is the attitude” and many of us have heard that before but how many of us truly live that? How many of us embody it? How many of us understand that to the core of our being? When we do, it changes everything in us and around us, and when we live it in our daily lives they radically transform. In this episode, I talk about my journey to finding “intrinsic ratitude” in my life. And, I assure you, it has been a journey and all of us can do it if we commit just 5 minutes per day to having intrinsic ratitude. The great thing about ratitude is that it’s literally an avenue to all that you want in life. It’s free and yet most of us overlook it in our lives or we’re tepidly and mildly grateful but we’re not really embodying it. Let me ask you, do you take time during your days being immensely grateful for all that you have? I mean genuinely grateful, not perfunctory gratitude. I mean instead of just saying you’re grateful because you’re “supposed to” can you feel it in your bones, do you embody it. Do you savor your gratitude? You’re not fully aware and alive until you can reach this place in yourself and all else is just being externally influenced. All else is not being fully present in life and not being fully immersed in life. When we start immersing in life we start infusing with life. And, when we infuse it, it’s as if we are co habituating and living in communion with all of life…and that is power. In this episode I discuss: [7:04] How having gratitude will change your life [13:57] How once you are living in gratitude the Universe will start reflecting that back [18:55] Having gratitude for your breath, your heartbeat [23:15] An exercise in being grateful for your hands Transformational Takeaway: What if you woke up today with everything you were genuinely and intrinsically grateful yesterday? Ponder that…. Mentioned Resources: Sign up for the upcoming BE DO HAVE Training here! Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?
